NURSING HOME MINISTRY

The monthly worship service at Heritage Health Care Center is scheduled for

As many as 40 residents and staff gather in the second-floor dining area to sing hymns and listen to Pastor Liebich speak on selected verses and Bible passages. Members of the congregation help the residents to find their places in the songbooks and are lovingly directed by Andrew, one of the residents who claims to be 200 years old. The hour is inspirational for the residents and rewarding for the volunteers. Heritage is located at the corner of 7th Avenue North and Highway 41, near downtown Naples.

Vacation Bible School

 Outreach Ministry

Each year since the church was formed, members have supported a VBS for member children, their friends, and neighborhood children. Everyone has fun learning new Gospel music, Bible stories, and spending time making crafts and playing Bible centered games.

Amigos en Cristos, Inc.

Immokalee Amigos Center

MISSION:  To provide tools for success, primarily to immigrants of Southwest Florida and their families to improve their quality of life.

The Peace Lutheran Mission Committee is asking your help to fill the food pantry at the Amigos Center in Immokalee.  Immokalee Amigos Center will be grateful for your generosity.

THE WISH TREE

     For several weeks we have been collecting gifts for “Make a Wish Come True,” Pastor Bob Selle’s Lutheran Hispanic Ministry, Amigos en Cristos in Immokalee. You still have an opportunity to select a star, purchase a gift and bring it by the deadline, which is next Sunday, December 7th. There are 35 stars remaining. Gifts should be unwrapped and cost $20.00 or less. Attach the star to your gift for identification and place under the Wish Tree in age specific bags next Sunday. AMIGOS EN CRISTOS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS

     This Christmas we are serving 100 families in Immokalee with a Christmas           program and gifts for the kids. On December 21st from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. we will have our Christmas gift distribution and will need volunteers to help make the day a memorable one. Some of the opportunities include set-up, clean-up, live nativity actors (no speaking parts), and helpers with the children.
