OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD


Thank you for  your cooperation and support for Operation Shoebox. We were able to send to children all over the world 70 shoeboxes.

NAME TAGS

 

     We are in the process of having name tags made. If you would like to have a name tag, please place $7.00 in the collection plate and designate what the offering is for. Thank you.

LWML Meeting


We have formed a branch of the LWML (Lutheran Women Missionary League) and held our first meeting on Saturday, November 22. All women of our church are members of this organization and are invited to become active in the various projects throughout the church year. We will be passing out a survey to all the ladies in the next few weeks to determine a meeting time that will be best for all interested. In the meantime, our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 10th at 9:30 a.m. at the new church property. Please plan on attending this meeting as we hope to determine our goals for the upcoming months and years. If you have any questions, please see co-chairs, Jackie Bruesehoff and Jane Aller; treasurer and mite box co-chairs, Norma Scheuman and Chris Paganes; Secretary, Kelly Ducham; or Christian growth chair, Lois Liebich.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

 

     Our Christmas Program, “Festival of Carols,”  will take place on Sunday, December 21st during the 9:30 worship service.  All the Sunday School classes will be Involved in narrations and acting out the Christmas Story.  Plan now for the children and youth rehearsals which start Sunday, November 30th from 10:45 to 11:45 each Sunday.  Parts will be passed out by November 23rd so everyone can be ready for rehearsals on the 30th.

CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON

      The women of Grace Lutheran Church cordially invite members of the Lutheran community, friends and guests to our annual Christmas Luncheon on Saturday, December 6th at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $22.00. The location is The Country Club of Naples at 185 Burning Tree Drive. Enjoy the lively musical entertainment of The Steeple People. If you are interested in attending, please contact Beverly Fritz at 304-1698. The reservation deadline is tomorrow, December 1st.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

     Our annual Christmas Party will be held on December 12th at the Lakewood Country Club. Please let Stella Little know if you plan to attend by November 30th. The cost will be $21.00 per person.
