Human Care

Romans 12:13

“Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”

As stewards, we have the responsibility to share God’s love and to share some of our financial surpluses and food donations with those in need. God gives us money so we can be a blessing to others. He has chosen to use us to help the needy.

We realize the months of April and May mean departure for many of our members to their northern locations. Please remember the Giving Tree as you clean out your cupboards and pantries. Any canned goods and/or dry, packaged food is always gratefully received. We will deliver the items to the Hispanic Food Pantry. The need is always there, not just at holiday time.

We wish to reassure the members who are here during the summer—Human Care is always on call!! We will not have formal meetings during July and August, but a few committee members are permanent residents and will always be available by telephone, should a need arise. Even though their travels and vacations occur, too, there is always someone to take that call. We won’t forget you—so, don’t you forget us!

To those of you who are departing soon, we will miss you! God grant you safe journeys and good health until we meet again in the fall.
